UNTITLED [EMBODIMENT II] – 2024

 

Untitled/Embodiment II is the result of Lakkos artistic residency in Heraklion, Crete, 2024. This was my second time here and I conceived this project as being site specific, an experiment in making art intended for certain places on the island that I have enjoyed the most. The artwork was inspired by Crete’s luxuriant nature and organic shapes and was contextualized onsite to become part of its complexity.
